This 700ml single malt represents a significant milestone for the distillery’s presence in Australia. Distilled in 2016 and matured for a full nine years, it was aged exclusively in a single 1st Fill Spanish Oak Oloroso Sherry Hogshead.
Bottled in early 2026 at a robust natural cask strength of 58.5% ABV, Cask #456 is an Unpeated expression, allowing the pure highland distillate and heavy sherry influence to interact without the interference of smoke. As a single cask release, it is presented in Ardnamurchan’s distinctive slate blue bottle—a nod to the volcanic rock of the peninsula—and is strictly limited to only a few hundred bottles for the entire Australian market.
