Born in the heart of Perthshire, Aberargie represents a return to "old school" whisky making, focusing on floor maltings, Golden Promise and Laureate heritage barley, and a heavy, waxy spirit style that is becoming increasingly rare. This commitment to traditional craft sets Aberargie Whisky apart from modern distilleries. It is a style that true whisky enthusiasts will immediately recognise and appreciate.
Distilled from the distillery's own farm grown Golden Promise and Laureate barley, matured in first-fill Bourbon and Sherry casks, it's a rich, layered whisky with notes of baked apple and golden pastry, balanced by succulent sultanas and prunes, and a lingering herbal finish.
