This is 100% Nerello Mascalese from estate vineyards in Randazzo and Castiglione di Sicilia. Marco seeks to make a wine that has the body of a white and the soul of a red. The grapes are picked a little earlier with limited time on skins. The colour is pale and Nerello sapidity shines through in terms of character. It’s all white nectarines and tangerines with a twist of lime and lemon; there are hints of almond, dried flowers and sea minerals – this is the kind of rosato that makes you want to eat!
