Cherry, tart strawberry, lovely floral perfume, some almond and liquorice, with a fair amount of spice. Red fruit and almond, a gently sappy quality, fine dusty tannin grip, perhaps a little orange peel in the mix, especially on its long bright spicy finish. Shows the cool vintage for sure and presents as a fine-boned ‘classic’ style. So engaging.
