The Chateau Mont Redon, Chateauneuf du Pape, is grown and made by one of the Rhone Valley's largest and most renowned estates. Still family owned and run, the quality of the wine is impeccable; full-bodied, richly textured, smooth, a totally generous red that is a perfect example of quality Chateauneuf. Each of the component varieties in this blend (mainly Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre) are vinified and blended together in barrel, which greatly promotes the aromatic complexity and subtle meshing of flavours. Spices, redcurrant, red plum and dried herbs, along with a gamey, meaty earthiness.
