Wild strawberry, crushed fading petals, wafting dried herbs, amaro and turned earth. Immediate and lilting. The palate too is dominated by sweeter summer berries and slippery svelte texture. A faint pull of fine Serralunga tannins chime in providing definition and detail to the fruit and mineral laden palate. Elegant Serralunga Barolo. Lovely stuff. Michael McNamara
