Deep Woods Estate Chardonnay 2023
Wild fermented and matured on lees for 6 months in new and seasoned French oak. Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Distinct grapefruit and nectarine scents greet the nostrils with citrus and gun flint notes ensuing. Fresh nectarine and grapefruit flavours are underscored by energetic acidity with citrus, melon and infusions of gun flint lingering through the back half. Finishes vibrant and racy.
