Initially, a hint of caramel reminiscent of Glengyle, but the taste quickly moves away from this impression and towards what it already impressed with on the nose: delicious fresh apricots and peaches, along with mandarin orange blossom and mirabelle plums, damp pebbles, a touch of salt and pepper, and eventually, dry wood.
