The fruit was 100% hand-picked, then whole bunch pressed to French oak barriques for fermentation. The wine was fermented with indigenous yeast and then spent 11 months in oak prior to bottling; there was no fining or cold stabilisation. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe 2024 Trelinnoe Chardonnay is a two-and-a-half-barrel blend from the Trellinoe vineyard. The terraces were damaged in the 2023 cyclone, and the yields are extremely low. The wine is linear and tightly coiled, wrapped around a core of briny acidity. White peach, preserved lemon rind, crispy green apple and a spice mix of fennel\/clove\/star anise lace the perimeter.
