Benoit Lahaye took over the domaine in 1993 and has since converted the vineyards to biodynamic farming practices. He considers himself a farmer first and a winemaker second. This is 100% Pinot Noir from a single vineyard ‘Les Juliennes’ planted on terres blanches soil in Bouzy. The wine spends 2-3 days on the skins to achieve the color. A ripe and red fruited rose, with framboise, red currant, a lovely core of minerality that leads to a long, lingering finish.
